Winner, Class 3 and Young Musician of the Year


Music has been an important part of George’s life since the age of four, studying violin, piano, voice and more recently composition. He currently studies at Chetham’s School of Music, prior to which he attended the JRNCM (Junior Royal Northern College of Music) for many years. Whilst there, he gained his DipABRSM with distinction on the violin, Grade 8 with distinction on the piano and had a composition selected for the annual composer’s concert. He was a member of the National Children’s Orchestra from the age of 9 to 15 and more recently attended the Rodolfus Choral Course in Cambridge, and the Sound and Music Composition Course at the Purcell School. George was a member of the JRNCM orchestra and choir and has added quartets and chamber choir since starting at Chetham’s.
